Homemade pumpkin soup
Pain de Campagne
Pastéis de Nata
Artichoke velouté with a smoked bacon mousse and artichoke chips

The rest

This month has been about slow-cooked meats and one-pot meals.
First ever pastéis de nata went down a storm. See the recipe here.
Visited Somerset and witnessed C's first Wells Carnival.
Ate lots of lovely cheese, most notably Westcombe Cheddar.
Entertained friends (more on that this month)
Little Otto was in hospital again, but he's all better and is enjoying his Lily's Kitchen advent calendar.
